Water Heater Anodes
Water heater anode rods protect water heaters through the process of electrolysis where a sacrificial anode is depleted to prevent corrosion of exposed steel in the water heater.
We supply anodes made of aluminum, magnesium, and KA-90 alloy. The material used depends upon local water conditions. The most common anodes are made of aluminum and magnesium where KA-90 is used for smelly water applications.
When a water heater anode rod has been completely depleted, it no longer protects your water heater from rust and corrosion.
We are the original equipment supplier of water heater anode rods for A. O. Smith, A. O. Smith Canada, American, GSW, John Wood, Kenmore, Lochinvar, Maytag, Mor-Flo, Penfield, Reliance, Sears, State Industries, USCraftmaster, and Whirlpool water heaters.
Our water heater anode rods will also fit other common brands such as Rheem, Ruud, General Electric (GE), Bradford White, and Richmond water heaters.
To locate and purchase the replacement anode rod that fits your specific water heater, you may enter your serial or model number here for many different brands and models. (The serial number is typically located on the data plate towards the bottom of the water heater.)
